Marrakech in Top 20 Destinations for French to Celebrate New Year

Paris – The Moroccan city of Marrakech is in the top 20 destinations chosen by French people to celebrate the new year, said world’s largest hotel search website “trivago.fr” on Thursday.

The analysis based on hotel search made by French tourists shows that Marrakech ranks seventh in their choices.

The city is also among the most French-coveted, non-European cities for new year celebrations, namely New York (5th), Dubai (6th) and Bangkok (20th).

Marrakech is today one of the busiest cities in Africa and serves as a major economic center and tourist destination.
