Royal Air Maroc Offers $440 Round-Trip Tickets for American Tourists

The lower price will be in effect from April-June and September-October. The announcement was made by Conde Nast Traveler.
Well-known American traveler magazine, Conde Nast Traveler, announced the promotional offer by Morocco’s RAM, aimed at encouraging Americans to visit Morocco. The National carrier will be offering a round-trip flight to a European city of their choice via Morocco for only $440.
The idea behind Royal Air Maroc’s offer is to give American flyers low cost flights to Europe,  which are normally very costly, while at the same time, offering them a chance to discover Morocco. According to the magazine, RAM’s promotional offer is cheaper than a one-way flight and competes with local airfare:
“$440 from New York usually gets you to Portland, or maybe Los Angeles.”
The website encourages American tourists wishing to explore Morocco the chance to visit the north of the Kingdom on their way to Europe. “If we were you, we’d road trip across the northern part of the country, stop by Chefchaouen’s dreamy blue medina, and shop in Fez,” the promotional material reads.
The limited time offer, split into two time blocks, applies to travelers from New York, Washington DC, Boston and Philadelphia.
RAM gives the American tourist a choice of 17 cities across Europe, including Amsterdam, Barcelona, Madrid, Malaga, Valencia, Paris, Toulouse, Bordeaux, Lyon, Marseille, Lisbon, Porto, Bologna, London, Milan, Nice and Rome.
